sera once again honoured as a top innovator – innovative strength recognised for the third time
The sera Group has been awarded the renowned TOP 100 seal for the third time. This means that the company is once again one of the most innovative medium-sized companies in Germany. The award is presented by compamedia and is based on a scientifically sound selection process that comprehensively analyses the innovative strength of companies.
‘This renewed award confirms our continuous innovation course,’ says Carsten Rahier, President & Executive Chair of the sera Group. ’For us, innovations are not a product of chance, but the result of strategic and forward-looking development work. Our solutions in dosing and hydrogen technology are consistently geared towards making the future more sustainable and efficient.’
Scientifically based assessment of innovative strength
Under the direction of Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Franke from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, more than 100 criteria were examined in five categories: innovation-promoting top management, climate of innovation, innovative processes and organisation, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. The jury was particularly impressed by the consistency and structure with which sera drives innovation.
Focus on hydrogen technology as a future driver
One focus of the innovation strategy is on hydrogen technology, a central element of the energy transition. ‘Hydrogen is an energy source of the future, and with our solutions we are making an active contribution to a sustainable energy supply,’ explains Rahier.
Award ceremony in Mainz
The official award ceremony for the winners will take place on 27 June 2025 in the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz. Science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar, who is a mentor for the competition, will personally present the winners with their awards.
With its third TOP 100 award, the sera Group is consistently pursuing its innovation strategy and underlining its role as a pioneer in the industry.
