sera Group wins "Bike Challenge Nordhessen"

The cycling competition „Bike Challenge Nordhessen“, organised by Regionalmanagement Nordhessen, motivates employees to cycle to work instead of taking the car. The competition contributes in keeping employees healthy and efficient and also reduce longterm sick leaves.

The competition ran from June 1st until September 30th. The participants had to go to work by bike at least 20 times in that period.

On Saturday, November 5th, the winners have been awarded. A total of 472 employees from North Hessian companies participated in three company categories: Small (Up to 50 employees), medium (up to 250 employees) and large (more than 250 employees). Together they cycled 172.000 kilometres which corresponds to a saving of 1 Mio. kilogram CO₂.

sera Group participated in the category „Medium Companies“. 17 enthusiastic colleagues cycled almost 8,000 kilometres and won the „Bike Challenge Nordhessen“ by far.
