iSTEP wins 3rd place at Industriepreis 2016

With more than 90% of all industrial enterprises, the small and medium sized enterprises are the economical basis of our country. As driving power, they provide new jobs and assure our economic wealth as well as our modern way of life.

To honor these achievements and to boost the economy, Huber Verlag für Neue Medien GmbH launched the Industriepreis in 2006.

Awarded were the most advanced products and applications with extraordinary energy-efficient, social, economical or technical use. On the one hand, Huber Verlag für Neue Medien GmbH wants to reward industrial pioneers for their entrepreneurial courage. On the other hand, the award helps less known companies to push their publicity and image globally.

The submitted product, sera’s stepper motor pump iSTEP® combines an intelligent drive concept with the precision of a diaphragm pump and sets new standards in precision and dependability. Due to the multilingual, intuitive menu navigation and a power supply system accomodating 110-240 V, 50/60 Hz the pump can be used worldwide. „We have commited the right product with our iSTEP®“, says Carsten Rahier, general manager sera GmbH, „The pump is very customer-oriented as it is used intuitively. This technology leads us much closer to our aim of pulsation free dosing.“

„We dealt with the topic for a while. Customers and co-workers submitted their wishes and needs to the development department and we were able to realize most of them.“ Enrico Ertle, Head of Development dosing technology at sera explains. „The award is a great recognition fort he work we’ve done in the past months.
